Matcha has never been so talked about, or so little understood. The Matcha Foundations course is an unhurried introduction to what matcha really is, and to what separates a good bowl from the rest. Matcha begins in shade and ends in a bowl. We will trace the path between: the leaf grown in half light, the slow turning of the stone mill, the Zen monks who found stillness in a cup. Side by side, matcha of different quality will show you what no label can tell you, in colour, scent and the feel of the powder between your fingers. Then we will teach you to whisk a bowl of your own, deep green and silky under a fine, even foam, and to taste what that care does to the cup, with a few easier ways to enjoy matcha for every day.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellations and modifications are available up to 24 hours before your booking. Cancellations or changes made between 24 and 12 hours prior are subject to a 50% retention fee. Cancellations, modifications, or no-shows within 12 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable (100% fee).
